We just needed to make a change.
Hi,
We’re Euan, Rachel and Fynnley (the dog), your Moveable Routes team. Rachel and I met at work as interior designers. With over 15 years experience in the industry we needed a change, we wanted to put our design expertise to a different use, so we built Gerty, our LWB Vauxhall Vivaro and lived in her for 2 years travelling the UK and going as far as Mardin in eastern Turkey.
We loved every minute of designing, building and travelling in our little campervan we knew this was our calling. To help others using our design knowledge to join the Vanlife fun.
As designers we know how to go through a project from design to handover. We are excitable people at heart and just love hearing and seeing our clients ideas, it really helps us visualise what the campervan will be. Squeezing every little bit of space out of a campervan is such a challenge and we love trying to come up with clever life solutions that are unique to us and our conversions.

When Rachel is not being the general organiser, seamstress and head painter, she loves the outdoors, walking the dog, running and when it’s not too cold open water swimming. Inside the house a bit of knitting, working out and of course cuddling the dog fill her time.
With 7 years industry experience Rachel specialised in store based interior design, working for supermarkets and home brands. Everything from high level layouts down to specific product placement and graphics she leads the way when it comes to van layouts and those homely touches.
Euan is the craftsman for Moveable Routes doing most of the woodwork. Outside of the office is a committed cricketer, playing most weekends with the local side even captaining a few years ago. He loves to cook and is always experimenting with different menus. In the cricket off season it’s tinkering time, any home projects that need doing are the task, just can’t keep a drill out of his hands.
With 8 years industry experience, Euan specialised in one off projects, working from pitch to handover those clients that wanted something a little different. In vans this is can be seen in the woodwork detailing, clever solutions like how to put the table away, or where the kitchen spices lives.
